Breakfast, Brunch & Lunch Chef, days Thursday to Monday The Lanes
We are looking for a talented chef to lead our small kitchen team at our restaurant in Brighton’s Lanes. This is not a pastry or baking role. Days only.
We have a bustling brunch and lunch trade. We serve modern seasonal British food with European & Middle Eastern influences. This is an exciting role for a versatile and talented professional Chef who has good service experience. We cook quality, seasonal, from scratch food (no ping machines & no burgers). We have a lovely team and it is important that you are the right fit.
We are looking for a chef who wants to learn and has initiative and energy, as well as an excellent eye for detail.
This position is 5 days: 8am – 5pm. This is not a baking or pastry role. It is a permanent position.
Salary is based on experience, but is expected to be around £27,000 plus 5% bonus plus share of service charge, which is approx. an additional £5-7k per year. The usual holiday pay plus full sick pay when you have been with us for 12 months. Weekly pay, monthly share of service charge plus bonus.

· Be energetic, self motivated and dedicated to doing the best job they can;
· At all times conduct themselves in a professional manner and be presentable;
· Be on time for their shifts;
· Speak English fluently;
· Be trustworthy;
· Familiar with HACCP;
· Be eligible to work in the UK.
