It's an exciting time to join AXA, as we seek to transform our approach to customer marketing. As a result, we're seeking talented people to join our Brand & Sponsorship team on a permanent basis. As Brand and Sponsorship executive, you'll play a central role in the team by taking responsibility for front line brand governance, including Liverpool FC sponsorship rights management and marketing/campaign planning.
At AXA we're adopting a Hybrid way of working, empowering our people to balance their time between home and our office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. Within this role, you'll be required to be onsite in our London or Bristol office once or twice per week.
What you'll be doing:
Brand management:
- Support the integrity of all brand expressions and touch points in the UK.
- Manage all brand standards and guidelines - ensure they're adhered to by managing our Brand Engagement and Approval Process.
- Work with a network of Brand Ambassadors across AXA to support brand implementation and engagement.
Sponsorship management:
- Support the distribution of our UK&I Liverpool FC sponsorship rights in a transparent and objective way.
- Develop plans with the businesses for activating the LFC rights in a timely and effective way.
- Work closely with our social team to create, publish and track regular LFC social content.
- Be one of the key liaisons with LFC and AXA Group for enquiries, updates, support, and managing LFC governance for UK&I business areas.
Internal brand engagement:
- Build internal brand engagement with employees. Work with different areas and use a variety of channels to help UK&I colleagues understand and support our brand purpose, promise and experience principles.
- Support training and bring our brand to life in our offices and online.
- Responsible for updating our Marketing Community online with the latest competitor and media news, AXA Marketing Academy summaries and overall engagement.
- Manage our Brand and Sponsorship pages, keeping them relevant, up to date and useful for AXA colleagues.
Stakeholder management:
- Build and maintain good relationships with stakeholders across AXA UK&I and relevant AXA Group teams.
- Engage with roster agencies, maintaining good relationships, advising on projects and keeping them up to date.

Qualifications
- Experience of brand management and approvals.
- Experience of working on sponsorship co-ordination.
- Practice in working collaboratively with people across the businesses and external agencies/suppliers.
- Experience of supporting teams with planning, budgeting, and administration.
- Knowledge of brand and advertising guidelines, standards and other compliance policies.
- Knowledge of the financial services industry preferable but not vital.
- Highly organised with the ability to think strategically.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- A team player able to collaborate across organisational boundaries, embrace change, and make improvements to working practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to establish rapport, credibility and strong working relationships.
- Self-reliant. Able to manage self and others within a complex matrix environment with shared responsibilities across AXA.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
