WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Brand Senior Manager, New Markets / Channel Expansion who will own the vision and strategy behind launching DECIEM brands in new markets and new channels.

This is a hybrid role based out of our London office.

WHAT YOU’D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

  • Responsible for working with cross-functional teams to ensure expansions are on-brand strategy and result in positive brand equity – delivered on-time and within budget.
  • Responsible for full expansion from a brand management perspective (across owned, earned, paid, customer experience and retailer partnerships)
  • Be a key Brand partner as new channel expansion opportunities are established for the business
  • Work closely with the Head of Retail and VM team to ensure that locally-relevant retail elements are built into all product launch and brand campaign plans
  • Work closely with the Head of Retail and regional teams to adapt plans to suit local markets while maintaining brand consistency
  • Work closely with Global social teams to ensure social plans suit local market launches and the Global creative teams to ensure assets are fit for purpose
  • Work closely with Global comms to ensure earned and paid earned plans will enable a successful expansion / launch
  • Be a partner to Regional teams in implementing in-store assets and promotions within New Markets and Channels by representing the voice of the Global brand team when needed.
  • Work alongside the Partnerships team to ensure brand consistency across all partner activations over launch period and following transition period
  • Work alongside L&D Consumer Education to ensure all store training, store staff communications and team initiatives are in line with brand values on expansion projects
  • Continuously monitor and track performance of brand health and work in the field to understand competitive forces, draw conclusions, and provide insights

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

  • Strong understanding of the beauty industry and consumer sentiment with extensive branding knowledge as related to other industries such as fashion, lifestyle, etc.
  • Experience working in dynamic Brand environments with cross-functional marketing and business partners.
  • Strong experience acting as a project lead and team representative in cross functional/collaborative environments - distilling complex situations into clear actionables and process (Global projects are an asset)
  • Tenacity and an entrepreneurial spirit, and are passionate about seeking out solutions to win
  • Enjoy analyzing data and thinking critically to uncover insights that will help influence business decisions
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills both written and oral and ability to work with all levels of staff and management
  • 2 + years of people management and/or leadership experience is required
