Job Description
As a Brand Protection Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying, reporting, and providing advice on enforcement and in certain situations carrying out enforcement actions on specific platforms (i.e. Social Media and App Store). Your role will involve working with our in-house built technology software (Mark Protect) and additional open-source online research methods, in order to identify and report infringements targeting our clients who are globally recognised brands.
The ideal candidate would be someone who has a legal background in Intellectual Property; passionate about brands, driven by technology, delivering excellent customer service, experience in online research and has a high level of attention to detail.
Job Responsibilities and Expectations
· Review data from brand reports and provide tailored reports along with recommendations in line with clients’ strategy.
· In addition to data generated from Mark Protect, additional open-source online research techniques will need to carried out to uncover online misuse.
· Ability to analyse large datasets and identify meaningful trends.
· Carrying out takedowns of fraudulent Social Media accounts and Mobile Apps.
· Collaborating closely with other team members to ensure clients’ strategy is effectively implemented.
· Manage existing client accounts and provide exceptional customer service.
· Regularly carry out meetings with clients to ensure rapport is maintained.
· Onboarding of new business; outreach will be made via cold calls and LinkedIn.
· Ensure deadlines/timeframes are complied with.
Competencies Required for The Role
· Background in Intellectual Property (preferred).
· Previous experience in Online Brand Protection (preferred).
· A basic understanding of online Trademark and Copyright infringements.
· Previous experience in presenting (preferred)
· Strong Internet research skills required.
· Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, MS Excel and Word.
· Excellent Communication Skills – verbal and written.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Strong time-management and organizational skills to ensure deadlines are met.

Salary: £27,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
