This role is suited to students currently in their second year of university, looking for a twelve-month placement.
Are you looking for a placement where you will gain full exposure of brand marketing as we enhance our brand activities across the world? We are looking for talented, ambitious and committed individuals to join our team in Suffolk. Our 12 month placements provide invaluable hands-on experience working for a Global Company.
Students are an important part of the team. From day one, you will be supporting in the development of brand marketing campaigns across all touchpoints for new and established gardening products across our wide base of International consumers. Each day will be different; one day you could be developing online content, the next, writing a brief for a video shoot.
What does the Internship entail?
- Writing video and photographic briefs. Arranging and attending photoshoots.
- Analysing competitive positioning and activity
- Assisting in the development of Point-of-Sale (POS) materials and online content
- Supporting the creation of Social Media campaigns
- Using creative software applications such as Photoshop and Illustrator to create brand content
- Contribution to brand website enhancement
- Direct involvement with new product launch activities
- Communicating with creative agencies and suppliers developing packaging and POS
- Working as part of a multi-national team with close access to product marketing and engineering personnel
- Business or marketing degree course
- An interest in the brand marketing of new and innovative consumer products
- Ability to use own initiative throughout a variety of tasks and communicate at all levels
- Ability to manage a range of projects and tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages, in particular PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong creative and analytical skills
- Good attention-to-detail
