What you’ll be doing

  • Be a brand custodian and gatekeeper, to drive consistency and ensure communications are on-brand across all customer and employee touch-points at all times.
  • Contribute to the multi-channel communications plan, offering creative ideas for Travelodge brand communications which drive brand consideration, engagement and revenue.

  • Monitor and report on competitor marketing and communications activity.
  • Own and manage responses to the brand team’s central email address in order to support hotels and operations teams with queries, always ensuring we provide a timely and excellent service.
  • Manage brand team budget administration by tracking spend to manage budgets closely and maximise value at all times.
  • Manage the development and delivery of communications to support key business priorities, as required.

What we’ll expect from you

  • We’re looking for a highly motivated self-starter who’s eager to learn, degree qualified (or equivalent) with a minimum of 1 years experience - a background from a hospitality related business in a marketing role is preferred but not essential.

  • You’ll have exceptional organisational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
  • You’ll need excellent interpersonal skills and relationship management.

At Travelodge, we believe that behaviours are just as important as the activities you carry out. The ones we look for in every colleague are:

I drive for results

  • I hit targets in my role and work at the right pace.
  • I take ownership of problems and try to fix them fast.
  • I look for ways to avoid future problems.
  • I look for ways to promote Travelodge.
