Brand Manager at WatchHouse.

The Brand Marketing Manager at WatchHouse is the guardian of the brand. Working collaboratively with marketing, operations and finance functions across the business, you will also manage key agency relationships. You will be responsible for developing 360 marketing campaigns as well as playing a key role in leading our communications strategy. This role is integral as WatchHouse positions itself for its next phase of growth - opening more Houses in new communities, growing the WatchHouse.YourHouse. subscription service and positioning WatchHouse as a leading UK and global speciality coffee brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, plan and lead the execution of omni-channel brand and communications strategies.

  • Define the brand’s visual identity, story and tone of voice.

  • Create and implement brand guidelines ensuring consistency across all customer touch points.

  • Lead the PR / outreach activities with partner agencies, collaborations and influencers to maximise brand exposure.

  • Create and implement an annual marketing calendar to increase brand awareness and new customer acquisition.


  • Brief in house creatives and external agencies and co-ordinate media and creative execution within budget.

  • Take ownership of all created assets including but not limited to: POS, print, digital marketing and retail packaging.

  • Develop and update marketing materials and key communication messages where appropriate.

  • Work closely with leaders across the business, ensure plans are aligned with business and customer opportunities.

  • Monitor and report on brand performance data, market trends, consumer markets behaviour and competitors’ activities.

  • Two direct reports: creative designer & marketing executive.

  • Demonstrable expertise within the branding and communications field, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

  • A strategic mindset with the ability to manage both brand and commercial needs.

  • Able to think about the ‘bigger picture’ and scope out opportunities for growth.

  • Proactive, passionate and dedicated, with a creative flair.

  • Strong communication, planning and organisational skills.

  • Excellent copywriting skills.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment.

  • A strong understanding of consumer behaviour and market trends.

  • A custodian of the WatchHouse brand, you deal with issues brilliantly. You are calm and professional in the face of a problem and encourage a truly positive working environment.

  • Print experience / experience managing and working with printers.

  • Copy write experience.
