The Role:

Are you ready to take on the challenge of being a brand champion and driving our organisation towards becoming a brand-led powerhouse in the health and wellness industry? As the Brand Manager, you will play a crucial role within our Customer & Digital Marketing function. You will be responsible for developing and delivering our master-brand proposition, ensuring that our products and services resonate with our target consumers and maintain our brand integrity.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop deep understanding of health & wellness consumers and our target segments through regular market research, anticipating future trends to create customer-first brand propositions.
  • Implement and shape Holland & Barrett's Global master-brand proposition and platform.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of a company-wide Brand Vision Initiative, including style guides, brand guidelines, and value proposition, embedding it within our organizational culture.
  • Act as the brand guardian, collaborating closely with the marketing team and other business functions to oversee communications across all channels, ensuring that our products and services meet customer expectations and enhance the credibility of our brand.
  • Assist in product development, customer-facing proposition development, and new product launches.
  • Create compelling propositions for key brand initiatives such as Beauty, Qualified to Advise, Subscribe & Save, and the Rewards for Life loyalty scheme.
  • Support the development of Holland and Barrett's corporate communications and ESG brand proposition, ensuring a consistent and impactful tone of voice.
  • Conduct thorough competitor and customer insights analysis, keeping abreast of market trends and competitor activities.
  • Measure and report on the success of marketing campaigns, including assessing ROI and KPIs.

Location:

The company has a Hub in Nuneaton and London and we typically expect colleagues to spend at least two days each week in the office. There may also be occasional travel to other locations. We're a global, digitally enabled business and we expect our colleagues to be self-driven and to determine the most appropriate place to work each day to meet the requirements of the role, achieve their best performance and optimum output.

The Person:
  • Extensive experience in a Global brand management role, with a proven ability to develop effective brand and marketing strategies.
  • Passionate about understanding consumers' needs and behaviours in the health and wellness industry.
  • A motivated self-starter with abundant energy and personal drive to make a difference.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Skilled in identifying target audiences and crafting compelling propositions.
  • Proficient in financial and budgetary management.
  • Experience in analysing and interpreting data to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, fostering strong working relationships across different departments.
