The Haleon Corporate Brand Team are the overall custodians and owners of the Haleon brand for both internal and key external stakeholders (policy makers, industry groups, patient advocacy groups, NGOs).

The Haleon Global Corporate Brand Manager is responsible for developing and executing advocacy campaigns that support our business objective to build our internal and external Haleon corporate brand reputation including creating the communication and activation strategy, campaign generation, tool kits, visualization and hero content development.

In this role you will marshal resources to deliver against the agreed business priorities and company objectives, working in close partnership with the internal and external Corporate Affairs teams, Expert and Global Marketing colleagues. You will need to able to demonstrate meticulous organisation and planning skills and be able to influence, manage and coordinate the activities of a broad range of contributors with differing levels of seniority and experience.

The output of this role is highly visible both internally and externally and as such the incumbent needs to demonstrate the ability to hold themselves and others accountable and to build credibility with a large range of external agencies and internal stakeholders who are pivotal to their success.

The Role:

This role will provide you with the opportunity to demonstrate strategic thinking and to lead key activities to progress your career and work across global and business unit functions. Responsibilities include:

  • Feeding into creation of the strategic vision and plan for Haleon as a company and a brand, including the 3-year BGP and the Health Inclusivity Agenda
  • Creating and executing integrated marketing and/ or communication campaigns that build the reputation of the business and the corporate brand
  • Working with the wider Global and Local Marketing teams to assess where the Haleon brand can connect initiatives to drive scale or further promote the company reputation
  • Partnering with HR, IR, External and Internal Communications on the creation and ongoing evolution of the Haleon company messaging and assets.
  • Acting as a “brand guardian”, engaging with stakeholders to ensure brand identity compliance and a consistent high degree of quality asset production.
  • Supporting with the ongoing management, development, and implementation of the company’s global visual identity to ensure it remains fit for purpose, is representative of the business and can be used across all channels
  • Implementing content testing and measurement approaches to ensure audience impact
  • Inspiring the wider Marketing and Communications organisations around the opportunity presented by the Haleon brand.

Metrics

  • Ongoing assessment of key performance metrics to ensure successful achievement of objectives and continuous improvement
  • Ongoing review of Haleon vs it’s competitive set.

This role will be based out of the Haleon Head Office in Weybridge and is a hybrid working role with a minimum 1 day in the office per week.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience working in either Global Brand Marketing or Corporate Affairs across Healthcare, FMCG or other relevant organisations or agencies.
  • Strong track record of developing and executing marketing, communications, or public affairs campaigns
  • Good understanding of the external environment, as well as political, social and economic issues and trends
  • Strategic thinking: can work with a brand heart to develop enduring, meaningful, and distinctive ideas to translate into campaigns.
  • Ability to judge a creative idea against a brief and provide constructive and actionable feedback
  • Ability to create and implement consistent brand assets across markets and through all touch points.
  • Strategically stubborn, able to have an informed point of view on a brand, what is right and what is off and be able to champion consistency in execution
  • Exceptional leadership skills, including ability to lead and influence up, down and over with a matrixed organization (large, diverse teams, peer groups, senior stakeholders)
  • Positive, can-do mindset, with the ability to motivate a cross-functional team
  • Change agent –ability to define transformation strategies, inspire and influence across organization and deliver exceptional results.
  • Comfortable challenging status-quo. Proactive in identifying, leading, and implementing change initiatives.
  • Good understanding and insight of customers, consumers, and experts
  • Team orientated and collaborative with a high level of personal accountability for delivery and results
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, especially the ability to translate complex issues into persuasive recommendations and to tailor messages for multiple different audiences

  • Proven project management capability of leading complex projects with successful outcomes, within a matrix organisation
