Supporting our Brand Events Manager, you will help in the administration, planning and execution of The University of Law brand events, which will include our annual graduation ceremonies, campaign events and more.
As a Brand Events Assistant you will be supporting the whole team in providing administration support, coordinating event logistics and communicating with stakeholders and students.
To be successful in the role you will have outstanding attention to detail and organisation abilities, the ability to prioritise work effectively, be proactive in your approach and have exceptional communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
This is a hybrid role, based from London Moorgate/Guildford campus and homeworking, with occasional travel when required to host events and graduation ceremonies. Working 35 hours per week on a full-time permanent basis.
As our Brand Events Assistant, you will:
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks and assistance in planning the University’s graduation ceremonies
- Manage our busy student inbox, responding to questions and enquiries
- Help source suitable and cost-effective venues and service suppliers
- Support on-the-day of events both virtual and in person by way of setting-up, organisation of staff and volunteers
We are looking for people who are/have:
- Experience of working in an events admin/host/coordination role
- Ability to work independently using own initiative
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Able to prioritise work effectively
