Job description
Reporting to Head of Marketing B2C (Inspired Online Schools), you will oversee social media and support brand and content campaigns on behalf of Inspired Online Schools including brands: King’s InterHigh, My Online Schooling (MOS), Academy21 and Inspired Online Schools.
You work within the Inspired Online global community (students, parents, teachers and leaders) and outside the community (media, journalists, influencers, agencies etc.) to ensure our brand voice, messaging and student voice shine through. You will be responsible for developing our social media calendar in line with marketing strategy, marketing plan and brand guidelines. You will also lead out our social media plans and posting with guidance from Inspired Education digital team
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The role will suit you if you have an eye for detail and are both tech and social media savvy. You love telling a good story in an engaging way through text, image, and user generated content. You have a passion for creating high quality, thought-provoking content that supports both B2C and B2B goals and with the ability to tailor to specific audiences internationally. You will relish the challenge of increasing our reach and follower base and helping our online schools grow and meet our wider objectives. Specific responsibilities include:
- Collect and share the positive stories of our school communities through content, generating news ideas to draw audiences’ attention across social and to be leveraged across wider email, PR and campaign channels.
- Collaborate with the Heads of Marketing and Content Marketing Specialist on the creation of a strategic monthly content planner for B2C and B2B brands.
- Develop engaging, creative, innovative content and campaigns for regularly scheduled posts across a range of social media channels, in line with overarching marketing strategies and Inspired Education centrally.
- Participate in weekly calls with Inspired Education digital and social teams to align, learn and share best practices and activities.
- Conduct interviews and collaborate with teachers, students, ambassadors and other members of our global community.
- Support the Head s of Marketing with project management to guide the team on content and brand campaign projects.
- Collaborate on the email marketing strategy and implementation, to optimise our nurture journeys and showcase engaging content at all stages of the journey and utilize stories, user generated content and other areas where synergies may exist.
- Draft/write blogs, articles and email copy.
- Create online articles, videos, blogs news updates, website copy (where applicable) and general marketing collateral for all brands.
- Maintain and create periodic content and channel reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Required skills & experience
- Qualified to Level 3 (A Level or similar)
- 2+ years’ experience in a marketing, communications, social media or related role
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that showcase a dynamic and supportive stance to all stakeholders
- Excellent written communication
- Good knowledge of the online learning landscape and/or passion for education, schools, learning, working with young people and parents
- Excellent project management skills
Desirable:
- Experience of both B2C and B2B content creation
- Knowledge of both B2C and B2B social media management
