About the Role
You will manage and lead the branch team to consistently adopt a proactive and positive approach with our customers, showing enthusiasm for the Society’s vision, policies and priorities in order to achieve the required business result.
Take personal ownership in applying the branch 'understanding needs' process, suggesting options customers may consider and qualifying leads for the relevant advice specialists.
Develop community relationships within the branch area to raise the profile of the branch and NBS.
Ensure that you personally and the branch meets all legislative, audits, code of practice and internal control requirements. Take responsibility for the oversight of cash management within the branch.
About You
As a Branch Manager with the Newcastle Building Society, you will be leading an already successful team that provides 1st class, market leading customer service.
You will possess great communication skills and be able to motivate and lead from the front. Your leadership and Customer Service skills will result in your team maintaining the high levels of customer satisfaction and customer advocacy we strive for. A proven ability to lead a team that delivers the high standards we require is essential.
You must be able to demonstrate strong leadership qualities and be an effective communicator. In addition you will possess a proven record of successfully managing a team successfully identifying and fulfilling the current and future needs of your customers.
A Banking or Finance Sector related background would be advantageous.
