Branch Supervisor – Throckley, Newcastle Upon Tyne
Due to an internal promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Branch Supervisor to join the busy team at Lloyd Ltd Newcastle.
Job Role
The successful candidate will actively co-ordinate logistical activities within the branch, in particular the receipt, storage, and dispatch of machinery and equipment to and from the branch. As part of the role, you will co-ordinate the paperwork related to sales, deliveries and dispatches and will be required to keep other branch departments informed of machinery and equipment status.
The successful candidate will play a key role in accounting for stock and the transport activities of the branch. Other responsibilities will include supervising employees within our yard, planning transport schedules for our drivers, advertising machinery on our company website and maintaining an understanding of the branch’s stock.
This is a varied role of key importance within our Newcastle branch. The position provides the ideal opportunity for an individual to progress their career within a growing, family-run business.
Job Criteria
The ideal Branch Supervisor will hold the following skills and experiences:
- Experience in a similar role, including logistics or transport.
- An interest or background in the Agricultural, Construction and/or Groundcare/Lawncare machinery industries.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Outgoing, pro-active personality.
- IT literate.
- Ability to work under pressure and use initiative.

Contract Type – Permanent
Location – Lloyd Ltd Newcastle, Ponteland Road, Throckley, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear, NE15 9EP.
Working Hours – 42.5 hours per week working Monday to Friday from 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
