Licata Building Systems are a UK manufacturer of Render & External wall insulation and waterproofing systems. Also a leading distributor of fibre cement boards, resin products, porcelain tiles, wood flooring, adhesives, grouts, silicone, sealants and interior decorative finishes.

Due to our continued success and expansion we have now opened our 4th distribution unit. Licata are increasing their team and are looking to bring in an experienced branch manager to continue the good work within the company by targeting fresh sales & new customers as well as managing existing clients for the branch. The successful person will be taking a leading role in the sales for the branch. Promptly responding to and following up incoming telephone, email and walk-in inquiries in a positive and professional manner. Liaising with customers and suppliers both face to face and on the telephone, progressing orders, and resolving queries. Checking and processing sales orders, invoicing and all associated administration, build relationships with customers to wider our network.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Extensive experience in construction products industry and have previously held a similar managerial position in a builder’s merchant or a related business.
  • Strong commercial awareness of the current market.
  • Experience in management.
  • Dedication to providing great customer service.
  • Adaptable and self-motivated.
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and service needs.
  • A working knowledge of Sharp-AX or equivalent software system.

The Role

  • Excellent understanding of all building materials.
  • Good knowledge of rendering & external wall insulation, tiles and flooring.
  • Supervision and development of staff.
  • Meeting performance targets, including trade counter sales growth.
  • Ensuring an outstanding standard of service and customer satisfaction.
  • Managing branch logistics.
  • Overseeing warehouse operations.
  • Developing the required stock profile.
  • Working within agreed budgets.
  • Assisting in the marketing of the branch and helping to increase sales.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
