This role will require work with open-food. For hygiene reasons, successful applicants must be non-nail biters.

Duties and Responsibilities:
We are looking for someone who can present food of the highest standards in a clean, tidy, and safe environment.

Job Requirements:
The Branch Cook assists in the smooth running of the kitchen with direction from the management team.The role involves:

contributing towards menu development
adhering to strict food hygiene requirements
day to day running of a specific section within the kitchen
competently operate and clean all equipment relating to job role
preparation & cooking of sufficient food to provide the agreed service level
ensuring portion control, preparation and storage methods avoid food wastage
to control stock, food preparation levels, and wastage within the area of responsibility

Desirable experience skills and qualifications:

City & Guilds 706 1 and 2 or NVQ equivalent
Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2
