Duties and Responsibilities:
We are looking for someone who can present food of the highest standards in a clean, tidy, and safe environment.
Job Requirements:
The Branch Cook assists in the smooth running of the kitchen with direction from the management team.The role involves:
contributing towards menu development- adhering to strict food hygiene requirements
- day to day running of a specific section within the kitchen
- competently operate and clean all equipment relating to job role
- preparation & cooking of sufficient food to provide the agreed service level
- ensuring portion control, preparation and storage methods avoid food wastage
- to control stock, food preparation levels, and wastage within the area of responsibility
Desirable experience skills and qualifications:
- City & Guilds 706 1 and 2 or NVQ equivalent
- Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2
