Bradford Trident wishes to recruit a suitably experienced person for the post of:
Active Travel Hub Officer
0.7 FTE (25.9 hours per week)
One year fixed term contract
£24,960 pro rata (+ 6.6% matched pension contribution)
We are seeking a dynamic Active Travel Officer to run an Active Travel Hub project in Little Horton to support the Mayor of West Yorkshire and West Yorkshire Combined Authority’s objectives to enable more people to walk, cycle and wheel for everyday journeys and for leisure and recreation.
Active Travel Hub Officer will:
- Collaborate with partners to identify a range of walking and cycling activities to promote
- Develop a calendar of active travel events in the area
- Assist in the maintenance and development of the Hub’s bike Library
- Engage with groups and individuals to support them with suitable walking and cycling opportunities
Applicants should have:
- Good knowledge of cycling and walking infrastructure in Little Horton and Bradford District
- Experience of project management and delivery including monitoring and evaluation
- Experience of organising and staging successful community events
- Superb communication and listening skills
An Enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful applicant
