The People Data Analytics (PDA) team in GSK is a global team with a purpose to leverage science and people data to improve employee insights and drive data-based people strategy and decision-making across the company. As a close-knit function of data scientists, behavioural scientists, engineers, and employee listening experts, we are working to find new ways of understanding and improving the employee experience to help our colleagues globally get Ahead Together.
As a Project and Portfolio Analyst in People Data Analytics, you will be responsible for the project management, report writing, and driving the delivery of our largest employee listening initiatives, such as our annual engagement survey, and “One80” manager feedback survey. You will form an integral part of the cross-functional squad with our Behavioural and Data Science teams to integrate scientific and analytical insights into our employee listening. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to directly impact the people strategy of a large, global organisation, delivering people insight that gets delivered directly to the board of director and the most senior business leaders across our organisation. This role is also an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to gain experience in people data insight to build a career in people data science or behavioural science.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Delivering employee listening projects, through survey design, platform preparation (Qualtrics), and results reporting
Design and create employee listening insights reports for senior leaders across the organisation globally
Working closely with Data Engineers, Behavioural Science and Data Science teams to convert employee listening survey input into people insights
Manage the Employee Listening dashboards (PowerBI) for HR and leaders
Project manage our employee listening activities, such as creating and managing our annual employee listening plans, as well as detailed project plans and governance structures for individual listening projects
Write and distribute regular project progress reporting to senior stakeholders
Coordinating and running regular employee listening steering committee calls with senior leaders and decision makers on a regular basis
Facilitate data governance through report distribution and platform access control
Ensure adherence to applicable controls such as data privacy
Leverage people analytics or behavioural science insights to provide advice on how to improve our employee listening approach
Why You?
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Demonstrated ability to use Excel with large volumes of data
Demonstrated ability in project management such as project status reporting, project planning, chairing project team check-ins, and writing minutes
Experience in stakeholder management and delivering content to senior leaders
Experience within fast-moving, complex, and demanding environments and with a need to multi-task and deal with ambiguity
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
Experience in designing, managing, and reporting on surveys
Experience creating PowerBI dashboards
Experience working with workforce data and HR platforms such as Workday, Qualtrics, and / or Microsoft Viva
Demonstrated experience of project management using MS Projects and Waterfall methodology. Agile, Scrum and/or Kanban experience is an extra benefit
Demonstrated ability of working with Third party service providers
Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry
