Who are Valli forecourts?
Established in 2002, Valli Forecourts is a well-established, family-owned business based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. The company originated when brothers Haroon and Farook became commission operators in 1993, taking on sites with Margram, Shell, and Esso. The turning point was in 2002 when BP decided to sell its network. Valli Forecourts was established with the acquisition of four sites and then a further two within months. The rest, as they say, is history! Valli Forecourts currently operates a diversified portfolio of 15 petrol forecourts and convenience stores throughout England from Birmingham to Stockton-on-Tees and in between.
Since 2008, Valli Forecourts have undertaken a massive investment program. Almost all of the 16 petrol forecourts and convenience stores have been knocked down and re-built. In its place now stands a fresh, modern, state of the art, large forecourts (up to 1 acre) and convenient stores (up to 3,000 sq ft) with lots of parking, great valeting offers, ATM and food-to-go outlets such as Subway and Costa.
Over the years Valli Forecourts have sought strategic, well-known brand partners that would complement their business and have teamed up with the likes of BP, Shell, Spar, Costa, and Subway to name a few. All the forecourts, stores, and subways operate 24/7, 365 days a year. Valli Forecourts employs over 250 personnel and provides a quality and 'best-in-class service to over 200,000 customers a week. Valli Forecourts are currently developing its site in Castle Bromwich, Birmingham, which is due for completion in December 2018. In addition, Valli Forecourts hopes to bring 5 more sites to its group in 2019.
What will my role look like?
Valli forecourts (BP Broadway) owe our success to our employees and we are committed to providing excellent customer service, good value products, and a wide range of facilities, and our customers have come to expect high standards from all of our forecourts and retail sites.
As a Customer Service Assistant, you will be the face and voice of our stores and your main priority will be to ensure that our customers are provided an excellent service every time. If you aren’t serving our loyal customers at the till then you’ll be busy working the shop floor ensuring our shelves are merchandised, look fabulous, and well-stocked! If you love to work in a fast-paced vibrant store, engage with different people every day, feel like part of a family and have fun then this role is perfect for you!
What would my main responsibilities be?
- Provide a fantastic customer service experience
- Be happy, friendly, smile, and have fun
- Conduct stock rotation, merchandise products, and promote current offers
- Ensure that our forecourts look presentable and vibrant
