An exciting niche role has evolved to serve our growing sister companies.
Fully working from home, reporting directly to the Managing Director and Senior Managers, your role will be to undertake accounting responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, a flexible approach, and a tenacious demeanour.
Responsibilities
- All basic bookkeeping duties using Xero software
- Ensure sales and purchase payments are completed efficiently
- Reconcile supplier account statements, receipts and invoices
- Deal with client and supplier account queries
- Support in the development of accounts strategy
- Assist with other ad hoc duties within the accounts department
Requirements
- Experience using Xero and Excel (essential)
- Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience (essential)
- Aptitude for numbers, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Be self-motivated and capable of independently working
- Confident in speaking with clients, suppliers and internal personnel
- An understanding of VAT
- As your role will be fully working from home, access to a quiet working environment and a reliable broadband service are imperative prerequisites.
This role is subject to a 3-month trial period.
Our standard working week is 40 hours, Monday to Friday.
