We are looking for an Junior Bookkeeper to join our team and provide bookkeeping support to our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily bank, invoice and transaction record. The ideal candidate will have excellent bookkeeping skills and have a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Daily and Monthly bank reconciliations
- Processing and payment of purchase invoices
- Posting of sales invoices
- Managing account transactions
- Assist quarterly VAT returns
- Assist company Tax Returns
- Posting of wage journals including identifying and rectifying any discrepancies
- Updating payroll additions and deductions including summer bonus’s, commission, fines, rent and utilities
- Monthly PAYE Payments
- General account admin
- Experience in QuickBook would be ideal but not essential
- Good Excel and general computing skills
- Good people skills as to fit in with the team
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10 per week
Salary: From £12.00 per hour
