Badham Developments is a small business that is expanding. We are looking for a Bookkeeper/Financial Adminstrator to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll duties. The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning new accounting concepts and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. This position will be responsible for maintaining financial records and accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties.
- Maintain Payroll files and records.
- Payroll
- Perform reconciliation of accounts at the end of month.
- Prepare journal entries and reconcile bank statements.
- Reconcile bank statements to ensure accurate financial records.
- Prepare reports on account payability, accruals, transactions, etc.
- Cashflow projections
- CIS returns
- VAT returns
Skills:
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures and accounting principles.
- Familiarity with general ledger functions (accounts receivable, accounts payable, deposits, etc.)and with month-end reconciliation procedures.
- Finiancial adminstartion experience
Competencies:
- Ability to handle large amounts of data in an accurate and timely manner using computer programs such as Excel or similar software.
- Xero
- Filing of payroll, VAT and CIS returns through making tax digital software
- AAT
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Part-time hours: 8 per week
Salary: £22.00 per hour
