THE GIG
Our Supply Chain Finance Manager will be responsible for forecasting, reporting and analysis of all logistics costs. Your focus will be to partner with the Supply Chain teams in both the Regions and Group on variance analysis vs. standards and provide actionable insights to drive savings and enable growth. Also support on all Logistics projects related to cost savings and enabling growth for business.
As our Supply Chain Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Budgeting & Forecasting – bottom-up budget for logistics, rolling forecast of spend (financial year vs standards) and forecast five year spend to highlight any risks / opportunities vs. standards
- Standard Costing – calculate the standard cost for the financial year for logistics. This will require detailed analysis, utilizing appropriate data sets across multiple data sources.
- Monthly Reporting & Business Partnering – oversee the month end for Global Logistics ensuring accruals are accurate and posted on time. Partner with Group finance and Regional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting inc. preparation of Monthly Management Reporting Pack.
- Cost Savings/ Projects – understand contracts and rates for all suppliers in Global Logistics. Partner with the Supply Chain team. providing cost analysis on any new logistics contracts- 3PL tenders, inbound, outbound shipping.

THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART
Put simply, for this role the key things we’re looking for are:
- Qualified accountant with one of the main accounting bodies (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or international equivalent with experience of standard costing preferably within a multi-channel, international business.
- Advanced knowledge of excel with ability to use macros power queries and excel application development using VBA routines.
- Exposure to Finance systems at an operational level – (ideally D365) with experience creating and uploading journals as part of month end reporting process.
- Great leadership and relationship management that delivers results through effective teamwork
- You’ll build a highly engaged team – you’ll embed a collaborative culture and ensure the team have direction (short & long term), guidance & support; coaching will be your go-to
