The Limes Retirement Home is an 18th century house that has been modernised throughout, including new extensions and outdoor cottages.The home is surrounded by a lush green common and has a large well-maintained garden with flower beds, seating areas and animals such as chickens for the residents to enjoy.The accommodation comprises of 26 single ensuite rooms which are all tastefully decorated to express a homely, warm, and welcoming feel.Job descriptionWe are currently offering a hybrid bookkeeping/administrator role within the home to support the Manager and Deputy Manager with the day to day running of the business.The role will entail various bookkeeping duties in addition to health and safety, fire, food hygiene, staff contracts and training and keeping abreast of documentation surrounding risk assessments and policies.As our bookkeeper/administrator you will be in a central role within the home, preparing and keeping records of financial information for use by the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager. You will be required to carry out day to day sales and purchase ledger tasks.
