Small but long standing TV and film freelancer agency situated in Leavesden seeks a confident, well spoken, ambitious & presentable Bookings Coordinator to join our team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Key Responsibilities:
· To assist in managing the diaries of our freelancers by completing bookings & communicating details to the freelancers.
· Negotiating rates.
· Helping to maintain & develop existing and new client relationships.
· Handle phone & email enquiries offering advice & information as necessary.
· Writing & updating CVs.
· Invoicing using SAGE accounting systems.
· General admin duties (shared between colleagues).
ABOUT YOU
Key Requirements:
· Experience within the broadcast industry (especially in a bookings role) would be an advantage but is not essential as all necessary training will be provided.
· Computer literate.
· Social media savvy.
· Knowledge of/willingness to learn about the TV industry.
Personal skills:
· Excellent customer service & communication skills.
· Good telephone manner.
· Strong organisational skills.
· Able to work independently & as part of a team.
· Self motivated with a can do attitude.
· Flexibility.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Ability to keep calm under pressure.
· Friendly & out-going with a positive approach.
DETAILS
Your performance will be reviewed at your 3 month probation review & at a yearly appraisal; there may be ad hoc meetings through the year to discuss any issues. The job description will be reviewed periodically & may change to suit the needs of the business.
Salary commensurate with experience.
