Bodleian Art Librarian
(Librarian-in-Charge of the Bodleian Art, Archaeology and Ancient World Library and Subject Librarian for Visual Culture (Art and Architecture; Film Studies)
Grade 9 – full-time: £52,815 - £61,198 per annum
You will oversee the reader services operations of this internationally important research library and provide leadership for its team of subject librarians. Your own subject remit will include Art and the History of Architecture, along with Film Studies, providing library and information skills support and developing electronic and print collections.
You will have an informed appreciation of the study of Art and Film and be able to build on the strengths of our existing collections while addressing diversification in research interests and course content for students. You will be an engaging communicator capable of promoting research and information skills as well as furthering public engagement with the collections.
Your professional experience in relevant library or information support work will have built on a first degree with a professional library qualification and on or a higher degree.

This is a permanent, full-time post, working 37.5 hours per week.
