We need a chameleon. The ideal candidate has a natural flair for writing, strong communication skills, excellent grammar with the ability to research and write content that is concise and attractive to automotive readers.

· £16 Per Hour
· FLEXIBILITY! The ideal candidate would work 16-20 hours per week, but we are flexible. We will also consider term time hours

· 22 days’ holiday per year, additional 1 day for every year of service up to 25 days pro rata
The Role
· This is a key position helping to drive awareness and, ultimately leads into the business and to ‘put our name out there’.
· The role is essential in creating content that positions our brand as one of the thought leaders in the sector and then promoting it through social media and email campaigns.
· The role involves working with our MD to develop and create blog ideas, conducting research for each post and writing in an engaging and clear manner.
· Working with our team to help create industry papers, articles and social media content.
· Measuring engagement through social media and email campaigns.
· Working within a medium sized growing business it is important to be a real team player, which can involve helping other departments, whether that be hands on activities or gaining more information helping other departments perform more effectively.
Key Areas of Responsibility
· Increase both B2B & B2C awareness.
· Taking briefings and ideas for posts and running with them.
· Generating, researching, and pitching ideas for posts.
· Writing, editing, publishing, and promoting content.
· Promoting new posts using advertisements, emails, social media, and other methods to alert and attract new readers.
· Advocating and educating others about interests, products, or services.
· Maximizing site traffic by utilizing Search Engine Optimization keywords.
· Staying current on industry trends for possible opportunities to attract new readers or create stronger, more engaging content.
Required Experience, Education, and Training
· MUST have 2 years+ experience in content/copy writing
· GCSE English and Maths C or above
· Proven experience writing content and use of analytical skills.
· Proficiency with computers, especially content management software, social media platforms, MS Office, and SEO keywords.
· Ability to take dictation.
