We recognise that university isn’t for everyone and we are offering an exciting alternative. Our technology apprenticeship provides you with the opportunity to build innovative solutions for our clients by utilising the most cutting-edge technologies.

What you’ll learn

You will start your Accenture career with a comprehensive training and induction programme where you will learn about Accenture and an introduction to IT infrastructure, technology, and services. As part of our global team, you'll be working with the latest IT technologies and will have the opportunity to build specialist skills on the job.

You’ll work with technical specialists providing daily support of production and development systems and implementing pioneering IT infrastructure solutions. You will develop skills in Cloud infrastructure and automation (DevOps) technologies. You will also build your knowledge of data analysis using analytics tools to visualise gaps, benefits, and trends to further improve client delivery.

The apprenticeship lasts for 3 years, formal training throughout the programme is supplied by leading training providing Multiverse, with a combination of on-the-job training, as well as structured training & courses.

What’s in it for you

The opportunity to obtain a BSc Degree in Digital &Technology Solutions (Hons) with a specialism in Data Analytics whilst gaining invaluable work experience at the world’s leading Management Consulting & Technology company. You’ll also receive training and mentoring from subject matter specialists, a strong support network of mentors & buddies, flexible study leave to manage your studies and access to a diverse range of clubs, societies, and networking groups.

In addition, you will also receive a competitive basic salary and an extensive benefits package which includes 25 days of vacation per year, access to app-based fitness classes and discounts on a range of gyms, private medical insurance and three days’ leave per year for charitable work of your choice.

Where you’ll work

You will need to live within commutable distance of your home office which will be Birmingham. Due to the nature of our work, you may be delivering projects on client sites anywhere in the UK. You will need to be flexible to travel to different office sites and client sites throughout the UK.

What we’re looking for

You will need to have 80 ‘A’ Level UCAS points or an equivalent Level 3 qualification.

You’ll also have a real passion for technology and be able to demonstrate this through either your studies, work experience or extracurricular activities, as well as an understanding of how it can be used. Overall, we’re looking for logical mind-set and problem-solving ability, a willingness to try new things, a passion for self-improvement and a strong work ethic.

Ours is an industry that’s driven by client demand. Which means that we must place people in the industries and geographies where our clients need them most. As well as being flexible, an open mind coupled with patience is a real bonus.
