Senior Biostatistician / Data Scientist
United Kingdom (Remote)
Are you a driven, adaptive and creative Biostatistician or Data Scientist looking for their next opportunity as well as give back to patients in a long-established medical device company?
What will you be doing?
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert statistical guidance, which will include Study Design and Planning, providing expert statistical guidance and developing clinical study protocols such as sample size calculation, hybrid study designs, real-world evidence studies and statistical analysis plans.
You will be an expert in statistical software tools such as SAS and R to generate accurate and reliable results as well as conduct statistical analyses of clinical study data and perform statistical modelling and study simulation techniques to support decision-making and optimize study designs, sharing study findings to internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
What does success look like?
We are looking for somebody with strong knowledge of statistical methodologies, study design and clinical trial regulations such as FDA and ISO and experience in the analysis and reporting of clinical study data, as well as simulation to predict clinical outcomes.
Successful candidates would need the following:
- Educated to a degree level in a relevant discipline
- A strong working or academic experience as a clinical statistician
- Proficiency in SAS and R
- Experience independently cleaning and analyzing large real-world datasets such as building cohorts and evaluating large registry databases and using observational research methods as well as CDISC standards and working with large clinical trial datasets
