Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and motivated person to work within our small team of support workers delivering components to patients for Blood Transfusion.
The UHS Blood Transfusion Laboratory provides 35,000 red cell units to patients per year. The service covers 5 hospital sites. Our service includes exciting specialities such as a Major Trauma Centre, Haematological Transplant Service and a children’s hospital.
The service operates 24/7 365 days per year. This role includes a rotation of early and late shifts from mon-fri plus a Saturday morning.
