The Montefiore Hospital has an exciting opportunity for Multi-discipline Biomedical Scientist to join their team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in Blood Sciences be registered with the HCPC. This role is based in a fast pace environment that will requires quick thinking.
Working within the small lab team, processing samples from the Montefiore Hospital, and referring blood transfusion Histology, Microbiology, and esoteric testing to Spires Hub labs or external providers. Training will be given as such can consider someone newly qualified into this position.

Duties and responsibilities
You will be part of an experienced and supportive pathology team working within a state-of-the-art lab
- Plan, analyse, assess and report pathology investigations
- Analyse, interpret and report information and knowledge related to ideas and concepts
- Develop and evaluate the movement of laboratory specimens, blood and tissues
- Plan, monitor and quality assure the application of technology for measuring and monitoring pathology investigations
Who we're looking for
- Must hold a degree in Biomedical Sciences and have experience within biochemistry and or haematology
- Have current HCPC registration
- Ideally Minimum of 1 years post qualifying experience
