Job description
We are looking for a forward thinking and enthusiastic Specialist Biomedical Scientist to join our busy laboratory
The successful candidate will perform analytical procedures necessary for the histological diagnosis of disease. Using accredited procedures, you will rotate through both the routine histology laboratory and the specialist techniques area; including immunocytochemistry and molecular techniques
The post holder will liaise with consultant pathologists, clinicians and laboratory staff to assist in the delivery of a professional and efficient diagnostic service. You must be professional competent with high levels of concentration and able to provide a quality analytical service.
You will participation in the day-to-day workload, including tissue embedding, paraffin section cutting, routine and special staining, and frozen section procedures.
