Sonographers Medical is looking for a successful candidate to take up a position as a biomedical scientist based in Essex. Our client is looking for a great candidate who has had experience working for the NHS before.

1- To work in the Biochemistry automation department, Experience of working in automation, preference will be given to staff that have Beckman experience
working Mon-Fri – 0900 – 17:30.

2- Flexible working considered – Mon-Fri only, 22.5 – 37.5 hours per week, Biochemistry clinical laboratory tasks. Specific tasks to be determined when a candidate’s previous experience and skills
Must be HCPC registered – non-registered will not be considered under any circumstances., Standard clinical laboratory environment.

3- To work as a Senior BMS in the transfusion department. Experience of working as a Senior BMS in Transfusion.

4- Biomedical Scientist in Histology, mainly for microtome cutting of samples. Significant experience in cutting specimen blocks on a microtome.

5- To work as a Senior BMS in the Biochemistry department. Experience of working as a Senior BMS in Biochemistry.

6- Current experience of working as a Specialist BMS in Immunology. To work as a Specialist BMS in the Immunology department

7- Senior Biomedical Scientist Band 7 Transfusion. Currently for 3 months with potential. Necessity: Experience of working as a Senior BMS in Transfusion.

8- Total of 4 agency Biomedical Scientists required, qualified and experienced in any of the following disciplines:
Biochemistry
Blood Transfusion
Cellular Pathology
Haematology
Immunology
Microbiology
Must be HCPC registered – non-registered will not be considered under any circumstances. For Band 6 post, require Specialist Portfolio, MSc or equivalent experience.
Standard clinical laboratory environment.
