This role is based in a private laboratory that works with their partnering hospitals to deliver award winning primary, acute and complex care. They cover all disciplines in pathology, this role would be based in their microbiology and serology department. They offer a wide range of in-house testing to help make diagnoses and pinpoint the right treatment options for patients.
The candidate
The Ideal candidate would be an enthusiastic HCPC registered biomedical scientist with previous medical microbiology experience. You must be highly motivated and demonstrate good organisational skills. You would be performing a comprehensive range of analysis and investigations day to day. Therefore, you would be able to work to the required levels of laboratory safety and practice.
Requirements
- HCPC Registration as a Biomedical Scientist
- IBMS specialist portfolio in Medical Microbiology (min 2 years)
- Competitive salary of up to £46,000 DOE
- Weekday only shift patterns
- Optional overtime for nights and weekends paid at enhanced rates
