We are seeking a Bioinformatician who will be responsible for the analysis of NGS data generated on patient samples and working on bioinformatics pipelines, processes, protocols, and documents. The ideal candidate should have a Master's degree in Bioinformatics with 2 to 3 years of experience in genomic data analysis. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to gain experience in Cancer genomics and bioinformatics.
Responsibilities:
- Clinical samples analysis with next-generation sequencing (NGS)
- Design, implement, validate and maintain bioinformatics pipelines
- Optimize and standardize the bioinformatics process
- Prepare bioinformatics protocols and documents
Requirements:
- Masters in Bioinformatics with 2 – 3 years of experience in genomic data analysis
- In-depth experience in large-scale data sets using a high-performance computing environment.
- Experience in Cancer genomics and bioinformatics-related resources (TCGA, COSMIC, CLINVAR, Torrent Suite, Ion Reporter, Sam Tools).
- Proficiency with Linux, Unix, PERL / Python / R / Shell

Salary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
