The Position
As a Bioanalytical Program Delivery Lead, you will act as the primary interface and liaison between Labcorp Bioanalytical Laboratories globally and the client.
In this role, you will work to initiate a current leading pharma client into the portfolio delivery strategy. They will establish relationships with internal and client stakeholders and work with support from Drug Development Partnership Solutions (DDPS) leaders to establish a governance structure.
Acting as a support to the BioA leadership team, this role is accountable to create, implement and advance the portfolio delivery strategy (end to end study/portfolio delivery) for a large leading pharma account. To ensure the deliver strategy exceeds expectations, the role will work with the DDPS leader to fully align with the customer’s strategy, partnership agreements, key imperatives, culture and customer measures of success on an ongoing basis.
Though a strong matrix organization, this role will collaborate across all BioA functions, communicating the vision, strategy and detailed plan with the end goal of a customer focused, optimized delivery model.
This role is the client delivery driver, empowered to breakdown internal barriers and propose process changes that enable multiple areas to deliver on time high quality results to the customer. The DLI will have support and will seek advice from DDPS/functional leads.
The two primary areas of focus are:
- Process: Drive ongoing and sustainable improvements in quality and service delivery across the BioA functional delivery areas.
- Client: Through consistent and focused communication, collaborating, influencing and negotiating to create an environment conducive to the delivery of high quality regulatory compliant service delivery to fully support the customer’s portfolio.
About the Job
Dedicated leading pharma partner, supporting day-to-day BioA Global Study Management and Operational functions, with support and advice from DDPS/functional leads as required. Duties include but not limited to:
Provide leadership and direction to the Labcorp Bioanalytical Services global network as a primary liaison with the Sponsor Delivery Lead
Ensure the seamless integration of project management services and influence pan-Labcorp as necessary
Partner with functional line management to plan and appropriately resource delivery and support roles to execute project plans to achieve agreed upon service levels
Ensure consistent and quality delivery of the client portfolio by supporting governance effectiveness and leading issue escalations as required.
Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, build strong, trusting relationships, inspiring others to deliver
Foster a culture of delivering continuous improvement, quality, and productivity from the clients’ perspective
Identify continuous improvement opportunities and service enhancements. Monitor, track, and manage progress. Share learning and best practices as appropriate.
Active participation in Partnership Governance with aligned Client Delivery Lead and other Labcorp governance roles
Program Leadership for Focus Teams and Workstreams within Partnership Governance Model, including continuous focus and direct involvement with ongoing process excellence programs between Labcorp and the Client and oversight of KPI trends
Provide a clear point of focus and consistency of execution for the sponsor by informing LCMS & IChem teams of specific requirements as outlined and agreed to by the Client Delivery Lead
Liaison with Bioanalytical Labcorp Laboratory Functions, EDPS Program Management and Quality Assurance Teams. Also partnering with business group leaders to discuss potential issues and work on best practices/processes as needed
Translate Client provided forecast and timetables into actionable demand forecasts for the BioA Labcorp (IChem and LCMS) Leadership
Coordinate with BioA Triage to support study placement and alignment of capacity and client portfolio
Develop forecast/capacity BioA LCMS & IChem model that are aligned with Toxicology and TK deliverables
Ensure operational readiness by translating and communicating rolling monthly/yearly forecast for resource alignment and study readiness for reference materials, critical reagents, people, and or equipment required to support method development through reporting.
Monitor (IChem & LCMS) status of ongoing and pre-awarded programs, pre-clinical and clinical
Produce and provide status reports and updates in a timely manner to the Client Delivery Lead
Lead meetings to work through current misalignment, prioritization, and drive strategic collaborative initiatives to increase communication and delivery value by discussing key issues/risks and best practice sharing.
Requirements
Bachelor or Master, Chemistry/Biochemistry or related field
Project management certificate desirable
Minimum 7 years industry experience in a relevant field (Bioanalytical LCMS and/or Immunochemistry field)
Strong relationship building, client facing and project management skills
Six Sigma training and/or certification a plus
Prior experience in scientific/regulatory oversight for Bioanalytical sample data generation
Demonstrated knowledge and track record in a regulated environment for GCP and GLP testing
Demonstrated strong leadership and customer service skills
Demonstrated a high degree of initiative and ability to work collaboratively
Strong negotiation skills to facilitate, guide and influence a unified approach within a global, cross-functional environment
Proven strength in planning, problem solving and organization
Consistent track record of driving continuous improvement and achieving results through leadership
