Are you a BIM Manager looking for a new opportunity? Do you want to be involved in innovative, major schemes across the built environment?
We have an exciting opportunity to appoint a BIM Manager for the central region. As a BIM manager you will be responsible for leading the whole design team in the delivery of BIM, through all stages of a project. You will ensure a high-quality service and provide the best technical solution and digital deliverables for the client.
A core part of the role will see you focusing on project delivery, client engagement and advising clients in the adoption of BIM.
Principal responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting and delivering a variety of projects, from small to medium, across different sectors, through all stages of a project
  • Working alongside the Project Director to produce, manage and control the project BIM brief, programme, and deliverables
  • Leading the coordination, validation, and delivery of asset data from project inception to completion
  • Communicating with the client and all members of the project team at all times
  • Organising and chairing all necessary meetings and information reviews
  • Working in a multi discipline environment
  • Updating the Project Director on BIM delivery
  • Fully supporting and managing the BIM teams assigned to your projects
  • Liaising with Senior BIM Manager – BIM Services on matters relating to project delivery and resourcing
  • Ensuring the team appreciate and comply with all relevant standards related to the project and Health & Safety

About You

Qualifications and technical skills we would like you to have:
  • Passionate about BIM and digital delivery
  • Experienced at leading the BIM delivery on large complex projects
  • Experienced across a number of sectors at all design stages
  • Good understanding of building design
  • Excellent coordination skills and being able to identify issues in terms of their impact on project delivery and model quality
  • Excellent data validation skills and being able to advise on how issues can be rectified
  • Excellent knowledge of current technical standards and regulations
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and client facing skills, combined with strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Excellent at working collaboratively with all team members
  • Excellent Solibri skills
  • Proficient at using Autodesk products and supporting plugins to assist delivery teams
