Job description
- Performs low to moderate complex billing-related research, reconciles transactions with the billing system, and coordinates settlements. Examples include researching and applying/handling payments or refunds, resolving problems related to financial transactions, and resolving billing or banking discrepancies.
- Authority level up to $1200.
- Accurately analyze, research, and process all payments and other transactions within established timeframes.
- Corresponds with customers, agents, Business Centers and financial institutions.
- Resolves inquiries from internal customers, business unit owners, financial institutions and/or vendors.
- Prepare and send written correspondences to customers and/or financial institutions.
- Demonstrates the understanding and actively participates in a culture where operation activities are focused on a positive customer experience and are balanced with operational efficiencies.
- Participates in Team Meetings.
- Partner with co-workers to achieve overall performance and quality goals.
- May assist in basic analytics pertaining to financial transactions; including obtaining, assembling, and evaluating data.
- May assist in preparation of financial reports.
- May prepare journals entries where necessary.
- Shares process and tasks knowledge with others.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- College degree or 1 year billing/collections work experience preferred.
- General large volume transaction experience preferred.
- Previously work ed in a production environment
- Basic knowledge of payment processing.
- Basic customer service skills.
- Basic accounting and customer service skills.
- Basic word and excel experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
