Unique role offering the chance to join an award winning, forward thinking professional services business within Leeds City Centre. The successful candidate should have experienced of the e-billing process and will have a strong background within general billing. As the E-Billing Assistant you will be working closely with the Billing Manager and you will be responsible for ensuring that the billing process runs smoothly for clients.
The client can offer a salary of up to £35,000 depending on experience, alongside hybrid working options, a generous pension scheme and the option to buy or sell holidays. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who has previous e-billing experience and is now looking to take that next step in their career.
Key responsibilities for the successful E-Billing Assistant will include:
- Creating and uploading invoices for e-billing clients and using various portal systems
- Liaising with new clients and setting them on e-billing systems and supporting them through the posting to payment process
- Working closely with Fee Earners and Partners and being first point of contact for any queries or issues around the billing process
- Reconciling statements and supporting on the reporting process for e-billing clients
- Assisting with the allocations process and working closely with others area of finance such as Credit Control
- Working closely with the general billing team and ensuring that all processes are robust and work effectively for e-billing
- Ensuring that e-billing complies with both client requirements and audit regulations from external bodies
- Any other ad hoc tasks/projects as required by the Billing Manager
We are keen to speak with candidates who have some previous e-billing experience and have an understanding of this type of role. Candidates will general billing experience may also be considered.
To be successful in the E-Billing role you will ideally:
- Be intuitive, be keen to develop and learn and will have an analytical approach to your work
- Have some experience of working within e-billing/electronic billing
- Be comfortable in a busy, fast paced role and will enjoy dealing with complex queries
- Have good Excel skills and will be confident in learning new skills and systems
This role is based within the Leeds City Centre area and is easily commutable from Wakefield, Bradford, Huddersfield, Halifax and further afield due to the hybrid nature of the role.
