Job description
This is an exciting opportunity to Join the SOC- Billing & Collections team as a Billing Operations Specialist, in a full-time permanent position. As a team we look after reconciling expected collections for direct debit, credit card and one- off payments across multiple financial stores; Core Sky, Mobile and NOW. We are also responsible for pre-billing processes and reconciling actual collections including refunds as they enter the bank, as well as any financial processing adjustments required along the way.
What you'll do:
- Complete accurate reconciliations in line with business controls
- Identify, analyse, and take ownership for issues
- Prioritise personal workload
- Work both internally and with external stakeholders to improve processes
- Trend analysis
- Compile accurate management information
- Build and maintain strong working relationships
- Participate in other activities in line with business needs
What you'll bring:
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications
- Enthusiasm and proactivity in a fast-paced environment
- A willingness to grab new opportunities and learn new things
- An affinity with numbers and be able to spot trends and improvements
