We are looking to recruit a Clinical Procurement Specialist CPS) to join our Procurement team based at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust, Salisbury. You will be part of a team of three CPS’s across the Banes, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care System (BSW ICS) that play a pivotal role in helping to ensure that our procurement activities across the wider ICS Clinical Sourcing team are patient focussed, help meet the requirements of the clinical services in delivering high quality care to our patients and ensuring that clinical products selected are safe and effective.
Wider requirements to collaborate across the BaNES, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care System will be essential part of day to day activity and therefore there will be a requirement for some travel across the region to all 3 acute Trusts and occasionally to other sites.
We are looking to recruit a passionate, commercially aware registered nurse or theatre practitioner for an exciting opportunity within our established ICS Procurement team, providing a customer focused service to support and enable the delivery of significant savings across the BSW ICS without compromising quality and clinical care.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual with an ability to build strong cooperative relationships, supporting the vision and aims of our organisation. A critical requirement should be a willingness to learn and thrive in a dynamic environment whilst providing support and a strong approach to team working.
Creating strong customer relationships and networks across the Trusts and wider NHS will be vital to drive innovation and continuous improvement across all our procurement activities. Acting as a clinical expert, you will support the procurement teams to drive and influence change, representing the Trusts at a local and national level both within the NHS and externally.
We need you to be a self-starter, tenacious and adaptable with excellent relationship management skills such that you can champion the Procurement Vision whilst delivering the aims of the numerous divisions you will be working with. You need to have a willingness to learn, be resilient and able to thrive in an ever changing, often demanding environment, embracing a team approach to success.
