- Responsible for the calculation, reconciliation, and submission of Cost Plus, Time & Materials, and Fixed Price type billings throughout the contract billing cycle ensuring billed costs are within value and funding parameters and compliant with contract terms.
- Preparation of periodic provisional rate adjustment invoices.
- Ability to review contract documents confirming Project Setup is consistent with contract billing requirements.
- Review and update Manage Project Billing Information in Costpoint.
- Maintain up to date contract documents (award & modifications) in the project billing folders.
- Review all project invoices against the Billing Checklist to ensure invoice compliance.
- Perform a detailed billing reconciliation for every invoice (T&M, Cost Plus). TBD
- Maintain complete billing package in electronic file storage (invoice copy, PM/PCA approval, PSR, supporting documents).
- Unbilled analysis.
- Timesheet data entry and/or approval for employees working dual entry programs (contract and/or customer specific), if applicable.
- Serve as Billing point of contact for internal customers, DCAA, CORs and external payment offices.
- Collections – follow up with customers on approval and payment status of outstanding invoices.
- Provide status on bi-weekly A/R aging mtg/call.
- Escalate invoice issues, as needed, to PFA, PM, Contracts, Compliance, Management.
- Work with Cash Application to resolve unidentified/unapplied cash.
- A minimum of 5 years government contract billing experience
- 3 years minimum Deltek Costpoint experience, Projects and Billing modules
