Job description
We’re looking for a Bid Manager to join our Construction business based in our Eastern region.
Location: Witham, Essex with hybrid working
Contract: Permanent, full time – flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know.
This position will provide the opportunity to work on projects within Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Leisure, Science, Aviation and more! With a turnover of £100m you will be working on single stage, two stage and negotiated projects.
Responsibilities
As a Bid Manager, you’ll be working within the Witham team, supporting them in building projects that support and develop the local communities.
Your day to day will include:
- Assemble a bid team with the relevant knowledge and skills to prepare a winning bid
- Chair Bid Kick off meetings
- Attend feedback sessions with the client and coordinate tender queries and amendments.
Who are we looking for?
- Proven experience in bid management and quality writing
- Previously worked with a leading national or regional construction contractor
- Experience in both single and two stage tenders.
