Overview:
The Marketing Business Intelligence (BI) Manager is responsible for ensuring the availability, accessibility, standardization, quality, and overall usability of Sales & Marketing data and supporting the analysis of historical and future outcomes driven by Sales & Marketing efforts. This includes identifying the key questions needed to be answered by thorough data analysis and building data-backed recommendations that will advance the company’s growth initiatives.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- -Collaborate with various members of the marketing team to clearly define business requirements for data analysis and reporting
- -Partner with IT to establish secure connections between various data sources and enterprise analytics & visualization tools and to resolve technical issues experienced by marketing users of such tools
- -Quickly analyze large datasets within each source to understand when and how each table and field should or shouldn’t be used
- -Cleanse and transform data to fit the pre-defined business requirements
- -Build complex data models that maintain the integrity of analytical findings and recommendations
- -Design and develop dashboards and data visualizations that leverage industry best practices
- -Recommend actionable insights supported by data analysis to drive sales and marketing outcomes
- -Maintain / administer enterprise analytics & visualization tools for business users within marketing, including the development and roll out of user trainings as required
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- -Knowledge of basic marketing priorities and processes
- -Solid understanding of statistical concepts, data transformation & modeling, and visualization techniques
- -Proficiency in the analysis complex datasets, the identification of trends and patterns, and the presentation of insights in a clear and compelling manner
- -Ability to clearly articulate and present technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across varying levels of the organization
- -Strong project management skills
- -Strong foundation in SQL, Power BI, Power Query Editor, Excel and PowerPoint
- -Experience in Python is a plus

Experience/Qualifications:
-Minimum of 6 years in a business intelligence and/or analytics organization of a mid- to large-cap company
- -Bachelor’s degree in engineering, analytics, data science, statistics, mathematics, and / or marketing. Masters in Analytics or similar advanced degree / certifications a plus
License Requirements/Certifications:
Current state driver’s license
