Salesforce Inc. seeks Senior Business Intelligence Developer in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties : Collaborate with stakeholders to define, build, test and deploy dashboard projects. Understand the backend data warehouse, ETL systems and database/data stores and using Tableau to create complex workflows and dashboards. Perform development of new dashboards for various initiatives and other reporting and metric needs for the department. Write and document collaterals and collaboration with the engineers in support of the reporting, metrics, and dashboards. Perform management and administration of user accounts and access to the Tableau environment and projects and reporting on adopting stats. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option.

Minimum Requirements : Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or two (2) years of experience in the job offered OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or five (5) years of experience in the job offered.

A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)).

Special Skill Requirements : One year of experience using the following: (1) Tableau Desktop; (2) Tableau Server; (3) Relational Database/RDS; (4) SQL, (5) Python; (6) Shell Scripting; (7) PostgreSQL; (8) Java; (9) Hadoop; (10) Crontab; and (11) Visio. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Education, experience and criminal background checks will be conducted. Telecommuting is an option.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $183,310 to $220,000.
