About MSI UK

At MSI UK, we know that our most valuable asset is our people, and our success depends on our ability to do things well and enjoy what we do, as we provide the best possible care and support to our clients.

Being one of the world’s leading providers of sexual and reproductive healthcare, we have a simple vision: to empower clients to make the reproductive choices that are right for them. Only when choice is a reality for each of us, can we create a better, more equal world for everyone.

Our client-centred care philosophy means respecting our clients as active partners in their own service, caring about who our clients are, their experiences, and how they feel before, during and after they access care with us.

About the Role

Join our Data and Digital team as a Business Intelligence Developer, reporting directly to the Head of Business Intelligence, who oversees this critical aspect of our organisation. As a strategic partner, our Business Intelligence department utilises data-driven insights to empower decision-making, optimise operations, and fuel business growth.

As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will be responsible for developing and deploying custom solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Automate Desktop, and Power BI. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you will gather requirements and design tailored solutions that address our business needs.

In this role, you will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to custom solutions, ensuring their alignment with our organisational goals and objectives. Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation, including design documents, test plans, data flow diagrams, and user manuals, will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to develop a scalable Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solution utilising Power Automate Desktop, ensuring the maintenance and necessary updates of our current RPA system.

To thrive in this position you must have the following experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in SQL, with a strong understanding of database concepts, querying, and performance optimisation.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow), Power Automate Desktop, and Power BI.
  • Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools and frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Join our team and be part of an innovative and forward-thinking organisation that values data-driven decision-making. Take this opportunity to make a significant impact on our business by applying your expertise in Business Intelligence and helping us unlock the full potential of our data
