WHAT TO EXPECT
As a BI Analyst, your mandate will be to model, collect and process the company's data. Your main objective will be to bring the company's data to life by implementing tools that enable it to be interpreted across the various operational activities.
These tools will facilitate decision-making and enable the implementation of KPIs to provide clear visibility on the health of the company's operational activities.
Finally, you'll work on the creation of analytical solutions that present data and information in a simple and attractive way, enabling work teams to answer complex business questions and achieve their objectives.
Here's an overview of your tasks:
- Model and collect company data
- Take the needs of different internal customers
- Analyze and document various BI projects
- Find and propose innovative solutions to analytical challenges
- Actively participate in developing strategies for feeding the analytical layer
- Create metrics and KPIs
- Develop queries, reports, dashboards, etc.
- Select and implement the best strategy for securing data access
- Participate in ongoing knowledge sharing within the team
- Collaborate with the development team on the implementation and maintenance of system queries (Performance and Optimization)
- Actively participate in the elaboration of the vision and strategy to be adopted for the future in terms of data and business intelligence.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- You have a bachelor's degree in business administration (IT profile / Systems information management) or other relevant training.
- 1 to 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Experience with BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI and others
- Able to work with Microsoft SQL Server (Database, Security, t-SQL)
- Familiarity with DAX, M, R or Python (an asset)
- Excellent communication, listening and empathy skills
- Collaboration and team spirit
- Ability to manage several files simultaneously
- Dynamic person who likes new challenges, initiative
- Rigorous and organized
