An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR administrator to join our National HR team. You will join as our third HR Administrator, working alongside two HR Managers and the Head of HR. We are a supportive and collaborative team who will offer professional mentorship and guidance to further progress your HR career.
Our new team member will bring their own unique perspective to the role, challenge the status quo, ask for help, and support our schools to secure the best possible outcomes for our colleagues, children and young people.
This role is based from home with occasional travel to our schools in the Lincolnshire & Derbyshire area. This role will be key in supporting the following schools: Benjamin Adlard Primary, Lincoln Carlton Academy, Mount Street Academy, Boston West Academy, Grampian Primary Academy and The Deepings School.
The Responsibilities
As HR administrator you will provide 1st line support throughout the employee lifecycle. Your key responsibilities will include:
Recruitment
- Support with the delivery of our new recruitment strategy
- Post job vacancies on our careers page, external job boards and social media
- Carry out initial application reviews and phone calls with potential candidates
- Process candidates through the recruitment system and schedule interviews
- Request and verify references
Onboarding and Offboarding
- Support with preparation of documents required for onboarding such as vetting, offer letters, contracts and payroll administration
- Verify right to work and all other required documentation
- Arrange new starter welcome kit and request equipment
- Coordinate induction plan with line manager
- Support with submission of employee references and offboarding processes
Employee Management
- Responsible for with organising HR events
- Maintain accurate and complete employee records in accordance with the Single Central Record (SCR)
- Manage employee company and statutory entitlements
- Support and manage the eligibility and administration of employee benefits
- Supports with all employee contractual adjustments and changes, ensuring compliance with UK employment Law, ACAS and KCSIE
- Support our school leaders with HR processes and policies, ensuring best practice and consistency across the trust
- Support with HR audits and the transition to paperless
Other
- Offer your ideas on the administration processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the team and upon approval implement changes
- Support in the roll out of new HR systems

Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in administration is essential, no matter the industry
- Strong written and verbal communication is required
- A full UK Driving license is desirable
