Location: Remote based
Salary: £32,000 - £37,000
If you have a passion for all things Data, PowerBI, and the ability to be an Excel and Data Analysis Wizard with the knowledge and experience to maintain and enhance our reporting infrastructure to extract key data, identify trends and be a key member of our remote based team, then we want to hear from you!!
Using your expert Excel and Power BI skills, you will ensure that regular company reporting is produced to agreed schedules and timescales.
You will assist in the maintenance and development of existing and new reporting infrastructure and will be responsible for key data extraction and manipulation for reporting services.
Key role responsibilities
· Design, build and deploy BI solutions to all key business stakeholders
· Collaborate with teams to implement new BI solutions and gather feedback for improvement
· Regularly test and sample reports to make sure data is being accurately presented and ensure reporting infrastructure is reliable and efficient.
· To support the Business Intelligence Team in validating monthly/yearly funding claims through the Education & Skills Funding Agency Portal
· Crafting and executing queries upon request for data
· To continue to enhance our current reporting processes, including moving over excel reports to our new PBI model. This includes using the teams’ skills to build analytic tools that can be used consistently.
· To work closely with the Business Intelligence Manager to plan future report developments and project plans
· Provide support to colleagues by producing and maintaining Adhoc Reporting, Daily Update reporting and Caseload Management reporting
Requirements
· Strong experience in Power BI essential with the ability to build and maintain reports
· Strong experience in MS Office Excel essential (Pivot Table production and VLOOKUP)
· Experience of working within the Further Education sector
· Ability to meet deadlines and targets and to manage and prioritise your own time and workload
· Excellent and logical problem solving ability
