As a Rush lead you will be responsible for the delivery of performance standards and meeting our customer airlines service level agreements through the effective implementation of the operational plan. Health and safety policies and customer service awareness will also play a key part in this.
Candidate requirements
- Ensure that all relevant safety, security, and operational standards are clearly understood and adhered to in support of full corporate and regulatory compliance.
- Have a competent understanding of World Tracer and SITA systems for logging and finding missing baggage.
- Ensure that the BHU supervisor is regularly and accurately informed of operational progress and challenges.
- To forge professional and effective working relationships with our team, other Menzies departments, supervisors, airline representatives, crew and their customers, in order to maintain and develop reputation.
- To consistently demonstrate a high standard of appearance and time keeping, in order to maintain the visual and professional status of Menzies.
- Ad hoc duties as appropriate in support of the business activities of Menzies, managing emails, liaising with the MBO.
- Looking after transfer bags between both terminals

Qualifications and Experience
- Experience gained in customer service, Aviation, Ground Handling or similar industry.
- Good working knowledge of the principal accountabilities is desirable.
- Able to demonstrate excellent communication skills in order to convey information to staff and other parties, using written and oral skills.
- Good people skills are required and the ability to work accurately while under operational pressure.
- You should have a high standard of personal expectation and the ability to lead by professional example.
- Resilient and tenacious; able to pursue goals in the face of obstacles.
- Strong team approach.
- Pragmatic and solution focused.
