Job description
- To assist in full range of duties within the Mortuary Bereavement office and ensure the department provides an efficient, cost effective and high-quality service.
- To provide advice and support to the bereaved in relation to legal documentation and death registration.
- To support the Corneal retrieval scheme in conjunction with NHS Blood and Transplant by identifying suitable donors, and obtaining initial consent to proceed with referral.
- To assist with training and education of Trust staff in relation to bereavement, tissue donation and care after death matters.
